What is NXP?
NXP represents your Nansen Points—it's our unit of measurement for tracking your loyalty rewards. Think of it like experience points in a game—the more Points you accumulate, the more premium benefits and exclusive access.
You can stack NXP through subscriptions, trading, staking, referrals, and onboarding actions. Each NXP brings you closer to higher tiers and exclusive perks.
How do I activate my Points?
Simple! Navigate to your Points Hub in the Nansen app, then click the 'Activate Points' button in the Points History section.
Once activated, your Points are claimed and will carry forward to future seasons.
How do I stack Points?
There are a variety of ways to stack Points:
Subscriptions
Trading
Staking
Referrals
Onboarding Quests
⚠️ Trading Points are calculated based on your trading volume from trades executed between Monday and Sunday and are distributed on the following Tuesday (10am UTC)
Do Nansen Points expire?
Once activated, your Nansen Points are yours forever.
How are my Points calculated?
Points flow from the following powerful actions: subscribing, staking, referring paid subscribers, and onboarding actions.
For subscriptions, you earn 10 Points for every dollar spent. Higher-value subscriptions = more Points.
For trading, you earn 1 Point per $40 in trading volume (minimum $50 weekly volume, Nansen Wallet swaps only).
For staking, Points earned vary depending on the chain (minimum $50 staked per wallet, calculated weekly Mon–Sun, visible by Tuesday 10:00 AM UTC).
For referrals, you earn 1 Point for every dollar of your referral’s first subscription payment.
What can I actually do with Nansen Points right now?
Your Points unlock an exclusive world of Nansen and partner perks—special discounts, priority Alpha access, free seats, and partner product credits. Check your Points Hub in the Nansen Superapp to explore this season's treasure trove of rewards.
This is just the beginning—Nansen Points is a multi-season adventure with expanding benefits each season.
How do I redeem points?
Open the left-hand menu in the Nansen Superapp and tap Points to view your balance and claim your rewards.
If I redeem a reward, what happens to my Points?
Nothing 🙂. Even when you redeem rewards, you keep the same amount of Points you had before, meaning more to gain than to lose.
Who can redeem Rewards?
To redeem any reward, you must be Green tier or higher.
An active subscription is not required, but keeping a subscription or active stake is recommended to continue stacking points and maintain your tier.
Why can’t I redeem a reward?
If you’re unable to redeem a reward, the most common reasons may be:
Your tier is below Green tier
The reward is onchain and no Rewards Wallet has been added
Can I see a breakdown of how I earned my Points?
Absolutely—the Points Hub displays your complete earning history, showing exactly how and when you've accumulated Points through subscriptions, staking, referrals, and onboarding achievements.
How often are my Points updated?
Your Points flow into your account:
Subscription: instant after payment
Staking: calculated weekly (Mon–Sun), visible by Tuesday 10:00 UTC
Referrals: instant after referral payment
Onboarding: instant
How do I know which onboarding achievements I need to do?
Click any of the toggles in your Points History (Onboarding, Subscription, Staking, Paid Referrals) to unveil your complete NXP Quest catalog—showing which achievements you've conquered, which opportunities remain, and your path to earning more Points.
Think of it as your personal achievement dashboard, guiding you through every Points-earning opportunity available.
How many Tiers are there?
Nansen Points features four ascending tiers: Green, Ice, North, and Star. Each tier you conquer unlocks more tools, enhanced perks, and premium rewards.
Green - Every great journey begins with a single step. You've started your ascent and begun stacking Points, charting your path toward the top.
Point Threshold: 1,000 NXP
Ice - You've found your rhythm in the journey. Your dedication is unlocking more perks and rewards as you push toward reaching higher peaks.

North - You're blazing trails ahead of most explorers. Your unwavering commitment unlocks premium benefits and recognition as you near the summit.
Points Threshold 50,000 NXP
Star - You've conquered the summit. This is elite territory with exclusive access, premium rewards, and your place secured among Nansen's most dedicated explorers.
Points Threshold: 250,000 NXP
Remember: Whether you’re starting off at Green or high up at North, you can claim rewards at all tiers.
How are tiers calculated and how can I level up?
Tiers are determined by your total Points balance. The more you subscribe, stake, and refer, the faster you ascend. Higher tiers unlock better perks and exclusive access.
Points also aren't stagnant. They accumulate over time. The longer you stake and stay subscribed, the more you can earn as well.

Do I need to wait until I reach a high tier to get any rewards?
Not at all —rewards start flowing from day one at the Green tier. We've designed immediate value for every participant, with increasingly premium benefits as you climb the tiers.
