What is Alpha Room?

Alpha Room is Nansen’s VIP trading program for high-volume traders.

It is designed for serious traders who want more than a standard trading interface: lower trading fees, access to Nansen research, a private trader community, early product access, priority support, and referral revenue share.

What are the trading volume requirements to join?

To join the Nansen Alpha Room traders must meet one of the following requirements.

• $1.25M per 30-day rolling period in perps volume

  OR

• $250k per 30-day rolling period in spot volume

All trades must be executed through the Nansen web or mobile interface.

How do I join the Alpha Room?

To join the Alpha Room you need to hit the trading volume requirements stated above. An automated invite will be sent to your Nansen account as an in-app notification. This will allow you to join the Telegram group chat.

How do Alpha Room trading fees work?

Nansen charges a builder fee in addition to the underlying fees charged by the spot router or Hyperliquid. Alpha Room members receive significantly reduced Nansen builder fee rates:

• Perpetuals: 1 basis point on top of Hyperliquid fees

• Spot: 10 basis points on top of the underlying router fees

These rates represent an approximately 87% reduction compared with Nansen’s standard builder fees for both spot and perpetuals.

The reduced rates are applied automatically once you are accepted into Alpha Room and remain fixed regardless of your trading volume within the program.

What is the Alpha Room Telegram group?

The Alpha Room Telegram group is a private community for qualified Alpha Room traders.

It includes Nansen’s Smart Money research team, who will post market insights, onchain signals, and market signals on a rotating basis.

Is the Alpha Room community on Discord?

No, Alpha Room will not be available via Discord.

What kind of research access do members get?

Members get access to research content and calls from Nansen’s research team to help you surface the signal. This includes market updates, curated research, live market insights, fortnightly weekly meet ups and research calls. and onchain signal drops.

Will members get direct access to the Nansen team?

Yes, the Alpha Room is designed for serious traders. Members get direct access to the Nansen team through research calls, product calls, priority support, and curated alpha.

Is there a referral program?

Yes. Alpha Room members receive 47.5% of eligible Nansen trading fees generated by referrals.

Is Alpha Room connected to Nansen Points?

No. Alpha Room is separate from Nansen Points.

The program is gated by trading volume, not Points balance. This keeps the group focused on active, high-volume traders rather than general loyalty or engagement.

How is Alpha Room different from a normal exchange VIP program?

Alpha Room takes common VIP program benefits, such as better fees, direct support, and exclusive access, and combines them with Nansen’s data and research edge.

Members do not just get a fee tier. They also get access to Nansen intelligence, Smart Money research, product access, and a focused community of serious traders.

Can I lose access to Alpha Room?

Yes, trading volumes are evaluated across a 30-day rolling period with a grace period of 30 days.

Will I be removed immediately if I fall below the volume threshold?

No, members are allowed a grace period of 30-day grace period if they fall below the rolling thresholds.
