What if a trade fails?

The routing aggregator automatically tries alternative routes if the first one fails. If all routes fail, you'll see a clear error message explaining why, for example:

  • Speed is set too low

Your funds are safe. Failed transactions revert - nothing gets stuck or lost. You can:

  • Adjust slippage settings and try again

  • Try a different time (less congestion)

  • Trade a smaller amount

  • Contact support if it keeps failing

Do I need to connect an external wallet?

No, there are currently no options for external wallets.

Instead, you use the embedded Nansen Wallet (powered by Privy) - no setup friction.

Can I have multiple Nansen Wallets?

You can have one wallet per chain supported (Solana, Base, etc).

If you want separate wallets for different strategies:

  • Use Nansen Wallet for active trading

  • Track other wallets in your portfolio view

This keeps trading funds separate from long-term holdings while maintaining unified visibility.

As a mobile user, I don’t see trading functionality in the app?

If you currently have the mobile app installed, and are a Pro user (as of Dec 9) Beta access, make sure to update Nansen AI app to the latest version on your respective app store.

⚠️ The current list of jurisdictions are restricted from accessing trading: Singapore, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Ukraine regions (Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk), Russia
